Our Projects
PEHR INTERNATIONAL
implements community-based projects in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, supporting vulnerable groups including host communities, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and refugees. Our work focuses on human rights, social inclusion, and environmental protection.
Legal Support and Awareness Project
Through this project, PEHR provides free legal services and legal awareness to people in need, including host communities, IDPs, and refugees. Beneficiaries can contact our lawyers through a dedicated phone line or visit in person during scheduled weekly consultations. The project aims to improve access to justice and increase awareness of legal rights and available services.
Environmental Awareness Project
PEHR promotes environmental protection through awareness campaigns and community-based activities. Our trained Climate Champions lead initiatives that encourage sustainable practices and community participation in protecting natural resources. This project seeks to create long-term positive change for a healthier and more sustainable environment.
Autism Support Project
This project supports children with autism and their families by offering information, guidance, and referrals to specialized autism centers and clinics. PEHR also collaborates with experts from Sweden to strengthen local capacities through awareness-raising activities and professional support. Our goal is to improve understanding of autism and ensure that children and parents receive appropriate care and assistance.
